The boys finished their season second in the Columbus 1 District of Division III after losing to Grandview Heights, 43-40, at Ohio Dominican College March 4. The game was close with the opposing team down by one with 13.7 seconds left but the boys couldn’t hold on to it. The team finished the season with a winning record, 20-5.

Head Coach Andy Cauley said the team had the right game plan but had too many turnovers, but he was still proud of how they played.

“We needed to value each possession a little better,” Cauley said.  “That being said, I am proud of our guys’ fight. When you have over 24 turnovers, you are lucky to be in the game. Not only were we still in the game, but we had a chance to win, and that was because of our guys’ fight.”
